Here is some of the make up I am using right now.

In descending order, Physicians Formula Mineral Glow Pearls Bronzer,Alba Oil Free Moisturizer , Revlon Custom Eyes Mascara, L'Oreal Hip Studio Professional Eyeshadow,Rimmel Professional Liquid Eye Liner,SoftLips Shimmer chap stick
These Products are super fun, and I am always excited to put them on in the morning. I like the bronzer and more nude shades of eye shadow during the day, often coupling it with a dramatic liner and a soft pink blush for day, but more saturated eye colors for night. I have brown eyes so a mild purple and silver for night looks really nice.

The key is to keep it shimmery and light, because a muddy blush with just make you look ruddy. Thought i'd share. I get alot of compliments and I don't like beauty secrets.

anyway i have been cleaning cleaning cleaning this week. My fuzzy fella brought some fleas with him from somewhere so i went crazy washing all the blankets scrubbing all the couches and i have been sweeping and vac-ing 20 mule borax off of every square inch of my house. So now its clean ! And apparently a few drops of blue dawn mixed with my puppies regular shampoo KILLS THEM ALL.The fleas i mean. So victory was mine !
Well I have been listening to a band called "Trampled by Turtles and Runaway Planet" I highly recommend you look it up, both bands are huge mood lifters !

oh,recently it was my birthday, i had so many people pop up unexpectedly and wish me happy birthday or even give me gifts! that i didn't expect, and it meant so much. When i went home my mom threw me a really nice party, with an Ice cream Sandwich Cake ! I know what your thinking, everything that is awesome, and you realize that ice cream sandwich cake isn't there ... and you cant figure out why. Don't worry,I'll get the recipe and post it.

The Colors of a Cozy Home !

What a summer it has been ~ I have had so much fun ! I went to Connecticut for a wedding, which was beautiful and gave me many ideas for my own. While i was there i bonded with family that i missed. I have been to two Devil Rays baseball games, and for one of I got to meet Train (the band,drops of jupiter). Thanks to the generosity of my Fiance's company. I've been trying my hand at gardening, and ill have you know that i have only killed one plant ! But all of my succulets are succulent and my Lavender lives limply, also my basil seeds have been plunked in the ground.... we shall see how they do.
I obtained Rosco, doggie baby who makes me smile so much my face hurts. You can see that Rosco and pooh bear are having a great time on the new couch cover - which looks marvelous !
For this up coming year (because school starts again monday :c ) I am looking forward to the end to my HEINOUS creative block and the consumption of much much more tea ! Today i am featuring Celestial Seasonings Tention Tamer* and Sleepytime Extra* because i am so trilled about school i can't sleep and when senior year gets under way between working and pieces ill need some tension tamer. .... i'm pretty sure my house mate will too. tee hee.
I dunno why i put that picture of the rock garden up, i know i want one though. i found it walking around the area i stayed, in CT.

ROSCO'S NEW DO !

The 5th of july never gets talked about enough, so i'll chat a bit about mine. Today was awesome. good day indeed, actually i had a great weekend in general - aside from the thousands of gallons of rain. Anyway i am drinking tea, i like these two tea's which i have shown. The Lemon ginger revive tea is totally perfect with cinnamon (as a suggestion) and everything is better with some orange blossom local raw honey.
I spent the weekend away from my new baby which made me sad, but i spent it on an Island. Ussepa Island to be specific. I have some pictures I'll post them later. It was *sofun*

and everyone who visited the girls cozy place on the web and haphazardly clicked an ad, actually helped the girl because she earned money from every click.

I've been doing some thinking. I don't really express what is in my sketchbooks in words very much. I am not really good at writing. I am good at drawing. I am good at collecting, and when people ask me from bottom of there hearts my advise, i know what to say. I collectively don't think about myself or what i am meant to do. I guess it takes a little courage to be anything at all. It takes courage to move from a job that isn't worth you. It takes courage to raise a family, and teach them, and have the faith in them that they will have the courage to do the same. In there own way.

In the scheme we all have a purpose, wether you think your own is great or small is up to you. relatively its probably small but adds up.

but i just have one question, for you reader. For you Family ? For you friend ? For you Lover ? Are you really, when it comes down to it, fulfilling your purpose. Are you really serving for others more then you serve yourself... could you do more for your family ?Could you plant something, maybe you could feel more open towards someone who's views something different. maybe it would help.

or maybe you have people who are suffering, not necessarily poor, or sick. They are ill though, of mind or of constitution. How do you lovingly promote healthy change in them.

maybe your purpose is to set right some years of confusion, you've lived so close to it for sometime.

I have started to collect flowers. I stick them in between the pages of my sketchbook. Its summer time ! Classes are over, and i can rest. Last summer i didn't give my self the space or time i needed to rest. I loved working really hard and it was rewarding, but i know myself well enough to know that i need a rest sometimes. The creative mind is alot like the pragmatic as well and all things need a quiet. Come to expect lots of sketches, and projects for me this summer. I've been wanting to design some pieces for selling, and ill remain at school this summer for work, which is great because i can sell my wares at the markets and galleries here that cater to a young crowd.

I realize that you viewers can't rightly call yourself "readers" most of the time i am sure you happen by my little cozy space in the web for a few moments in a week to see what you can see and then your off. Perhaps you have small lilting thoughts about who i am, or what i do day to day. I am not going to tell you any of that because its boring.

But i will wish you Happy Easter, it's a really great time of year - probably one of my favorites. For my entire life there has never been an unhappy Easter season i remember several Easter to mornings going to the car for church and noticing that all my moms hard work in the garden payed off flowers are blooming and everything is decorated to pretty and i just love it ! Not to mention coloring eggs and egg hunts and smallish family members getting freaked out by my cousin who dresses up like a bunny.

All good things as Martha her majesty would say ! This Easter marks a new chapter in my life to be sure. As i undertake the preperation to graduate and make a life for my own and the life of my fiance, i take a sigh of big relief ! You'd think i'd be a giant ball of stress, and i am, a little but its ok. I get to have tons of fun !!! I have some planning to do !

I know it'll all work out the way it should. It always has. I have hugely loving parents and i'll also have more loving parents when i get married - so i mean two loving parents are great but four loving parents is - like - silly great. And i am striking a chord in my Illustration work, also my fabulous significant other just bagged a really great job in a place where he probably knows more about the industry then his employers ... and every thing is BLOOMING !!!!!! AGAIN!!!!

The Stress Remedy

On a Rainy day like this its best to take a minute, get cozy and relax. Here's how i do it.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon dried lavender flowers

1 teaspoon dried chamomile
1 teaspoon green tea leaves (or 1 tea bag,I use decaf)
1. teaspoon of calendula flowers
4 cups boiling water

Directions

1. Place the herbs in a warmed teapot.

2. Pour in the 4 cups boiling water, cover, and steep for 3-5 minutes.

3.Strain and serve.

4.Sweeten with honey or sugar, if desired.

My fiance and i have been actively trying to get to church on a weekly basis, we are both very spiritual people. I posted here this card that i found in this deck of beautifully illustrated cards that i got from a fun place called Elysian Fields last year, they are filled with cute little sayings and tips for a healthy spiritual life.

This year we are focusing mainly on getting our act together so to speak. We are managing our money, working out more frequently together and spending lots of quality time working in our individual creative fields together, mine being illustration and his web development ! This year was very hard. There are people i miss terribly. On the other hand there are people i thank my lucky stars i met. This year i plan to do more of somethings. Also i plan to start gathering the things i need to carry out my long term dreams. Someone once said i live in a fantasy land, and thats true. Heres to this year - let the fantasy continue !

What a weekend ! I have been slammed with work from school and other preoccupations i am quite sorry ! So the weekend started off with a bang then today is saturday and i feel all sniffly and icky - but the mysterious gentlemen to your immediate left helped take good care of me ... but all is well and quiet and because Mr. Monster likes to bake, soon there will be Banana Bread !

Hello, its been a ho-hum monday, not to much a-going on. Had a pleasent weekend home, and saw the family.

When i come back to college from visiting home i always leave with some inspiration, but there is a need for some explination. I am all about people with purpose, and eveytime i come home my mom has done something fantastic to the house, could be new flowers in the garden to totally redoing the bathroom -

but aside from all that wonder, i was super pleased to discover that my cousin LuAnn set up an avery in her back porch ! This is thrilling because she always had birds and she is really talented with that. Anyway i think i was proud in a way because its something she really loves and she went and built this awesome avery for these birds.

LuAnn and Anthony are really sweet people and they are i suppose fullfilling what it is that makes them happy, and that bodes well for them in a really great way in my opinion because these small things gives us purpose. purpose is healthy.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon dried lavender flowers

Directions

1. Place the herbs in a warmed teapot.

2. Pour in the 4 cups boiling water, cover, and steep for 3-5 minutes.

3.Strain and serve.

4.Sweeten with honey or sugar, if desired.
